Doctors Warda and Goldman are extraordinarily proud of their team, truly the finest team members. We have had the pleasure of working within my career composed of caring and dedicated professionals:
Mari and Sandra and our Virtual Assistant Robert are our office administrators, also bring with them their extensive experience in dentistry, starting with dental assisting. Mari and Sandra have worked in dental offices throughout their careers, and while periodontics means learning new things, they have applied their skills both effectively and efficiently in facilitating every aspect of our business needs. Sandra, Mari and Robert work closely with appointment scheduling, billing, inter-office communication, and with other team members in assuring every detail receives attention. They are fun, adore working with people and somehow make even the busiest days a kick for all of us.
Debbie Fossmakk, Petra Martinez and Debbie Panelli, our senior hygienists, have worked exclusively in the dental and periodontal fields throughout their careers. Debbie has worked in this office since she completed her hygiene training. She is a Monterey Peninsula local and worked as a dental assistant and office manager here before she did her hygiene training.
In addition, our hygienists regularly receive training in advanced root instrumentation and soft tissue management and are highly skilled at providing expert care remarkably comfortably.
Laura, our lead surgical assistant is a professional and kind demeanor that makes for gentle, totally comfortable experience, every time you are in our office. She is fun, thoughtful, highly skilled and an absolute pleasure to work with.
All of us take time to listen to your concerns and needs, to educate and explain your condition, options of treatment we recommend, and at all times are available to help and address concerns.

RDH - Senior Hygienist
Debbie Fosmark is a native of the Monterey Peninsula, graduating from Monterey High School in 1995. She has a strong educational background in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, and Anatomy and Physiology earning her Bachelors of Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2000. Post graduating, she pursued a career in dental hygiene by completing the Dental Hygiene program at Cabrillo College and earning her RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) certificate. Since 2006, she has been working in our periodontal office, specializing in periodontal care and oral health. With a warm heart, skilled hands and a passion for excellence, she continues to provide individualized care towards the patient’s optimal health. When not at work, Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She is also very active in the local equestrian community where both she and her daughter ride and compete.
Petra
RDH
Petra grew up in the Salinas Valley where she worked as a registered dental assistant throughout her high school years, she discovered she loved dentistry and attended Cabrillo College Dental Hygiene School. After graduation in 1996 she was invited to attend the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advance Dental Studies. There she completed courses including the Art and Science of modern Hygiene which focused on the care of cosmetics, implants, and full-mouth rehabilitations. She is also certified on oral conscious sedation and has obtained laser certification. Many of her patients comment that she has a light hand and performs in a very through manner. Away from the dental office She enjoys jogging, Bicycling and weight training.

Debra Panelli, RDH was born and raised in Seattle Washington. I graduated from college 46 years ago in Portland Oregon, with a degree in Dental Hygiene. I worked for 43 years in a general practice. I have been married to a home town boy from Salinas for 42 years. Debbie and her husband Mark are deeply involved in the world of youth with physical disabilities and are the art directors at a summer camp in Soda Springs, Camp WAMP. We spend our summer months enjoying our riverside home in Downievillle California, where we goldmine, kayak, entertaining guests and enjoying the peace and wildlife. The highlights of my days are filled with volunteering, sewing, knitting, pottery and gardening. I have been gifted with good health, loving friends and a outstanding career. “My days at Monterey Perio Center have expanded my friendships with a lovely staff, talented doctors, fascinating patients and a breathtaking view of the Monterey Bay.
Laura
Surgical Assistant
Laura Salinas has been a Registered Dental Assistant for 6 years. Laura not only enjoys working in the dental field, she excels at her job. She is compassionate with her patients, helping them to feel that they aren't just a patient in the chair, but made to feel more like a family member.
Laura also has a background in veterinary medicine, where she worked for 8 years as a veterinary assistant with small animals.
On Laura's free time, she enjoys going camping and hunting with her family. She is also very active in her daughter's 4-H club where she is on numerous committee's. She also assists her daughter in raising pigs and steers to show at the local fair.
Sandra
Treatment Coordinator
Sandra is a native of the Monterey Peninsula, graduating from Monterey High School in 1993 and then Monterey Peninsula College, where she obtained her Associates Degree in Science and certification for Dental Assisting She has served the local dental community for over 20 years.
She helps patients restore their oral health, implementing her dental knowledge to aid patients with oral health success. Clinical experience has enhanced her knowledge and care in the understanding of patient treatment, scheduling and any information a patient might need regarding their Insurance benefits and financial arrangements
Sandra has volunteered with the Rotary Club Clinic on various mission trips to Tijuana, Mexico in which she assisted in bringing dental care to orphanage centers. During her time away from the office, she enjoys shopping, traveling, theme parks and spending time with her three children and Fiancée.
